Office Angel Leader Connie
The primary objective of the Office Angels Ministry is to help our overworked office administrator, Connie Eckert! Connie runs the office and serves the ministers, the staff, ministry leaders and congregants. She is involved in all church functions, creates Sunday bulletins and inserts, and has become quite proficient in the creation of posters, signs and promotional material for classes, workshops and events. And she is part time!! So, yes, she needs help.
Prior to taking this job, Connie was an office angel herself for about a year and a half. When the Office Administrator position became available she said “YES!” and everyone has been thrilled. In working with office angels, Connie says, “I love it! They are great people to work with, and I am grateful for each and every one of them.”

What do Office Angels do?
They fold, cut, staple, stuff, stick and lots of other odd jobs. Mostly, they fold bulletins, cut inserts, stuff mailings, put labels on booklets or envelopes, do copying and answer phones (filling in as receptionist), but the work can also include data entry, typing and sometimes organizing and/or cleaning.
Then when Connie is caught up, other staff members also have interesting tasks where assistance is greatly appreciated.
There are about four regulars and three “on call” subs. They generally work one day a week for 3-4 hours and in some cases all day. Most of the work is in the morning, beginning at 9:30, when the office opens. Connie arrives at 11:00, so the first hour and a half is answering phones and taking care of things until she arrives.
