The flower and garden ministry is a team of committed people who love gardening and are in service to Unity Christ Church.
Leadership:
The flower and garden ministry has taken on new leadership in the past year and under the direction and dynamic leadership of Eddie B has continued to create excitement, commitment, and passion for the beautification of the church grounds. This has never been more evident than the new garden located next to the patio outside the Fillmore Room. What once was an overgrown eyesore has been turned into a garden of peace and tranquility equipped with a stone walkway and bench.
The ministry facilitated a new and innovative program this past spring called Planting Unity Together. The ministry members solicited members of the congregation to bring their favorite plants (either from your garden or from a store) for use on the church grounds, and then the Flower and Garden Ministry members planted them throughout the church grounds. Excess plants were offered for sale on a love offering basis to the members.

- To share a love and passion for gardening as a hobby.
- To learn and teach the knowledge and skills of gardening from each other while participating in
gardening activities sponsored by the church and ministry. - To grow spiritually through service and contribution to Mother Nature and the Unity Christ
Church.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute gardening skills for the beautification and enhancement of Unity Christ Church grounds.
- Participate in the flower and garden ministries activities throughout the year including planting, watering, weeding, and the spring and fall clean-up days.
- Have fun doing what you love.
