The Prayer Ministry holds the congregation in prayer on a daily basis. Everyone is invited to put their written prayer requests in the prayer box in the Garden Court. Every Sunday a designated member of the Prayer Ministry collects the written prayer requests and distributes the names via e-mail/phone equally amongst the 20+ members of the Prayer Ministry. Each member agrees to hold the names they receive each week in daily prayer, praying for each individual’s highest good. Prayer Ministry members receive 2-6 names each week. The actual written requests are sent on to Silent Unity where they are held in prayer for another 30 days.
The Prayer Ministry leads the annual World Day of Prayer each year in September holding a 24 hour prayer vigil at the church.

The team leader is in regular email/phone contact with members and this ministry does not have meetings.
Prayer Requests
All prayer requests received, whether sent to the church office by e-mail or telephone or written by individuals and placed in the Prayer Box are lovingly prayed over by a Prayer Angel on the Prayer Ministry for the first 7 days. Every Sunday a Prayer Angel gathers all the prayer requests and distributes all the first names of each request to the Prayer Ministry. Each Prayer Angel holds your first name in prayer each day for 7 days. Your actual request is mailed to Silent Unity at Unity Village where it is held in prayer for another 30 days. Your prayer request is held in the strictest confidence.
